Our Story

From two teams to two hundred members

Langton Green Netball Club was formed in 1999 by Kathy Smith and Julie Mesher.

When the club was first formed it had just two teams and trained at Langton Green Primary School. Over the years LGNC has grown in size and strength, and now has a membership of approximately 200 girls ranging from years seven to eighteen - drawing on members from Tunbridge Wells and beyond.

The club is now overseen by Laura Kerr-Sheppard, a UKCC Level 2 netball coach, B-award umpire and Kent Netball umpiring mentor, along with a strong team of coaches. Everyone involved in the club - coaches and admin support alike - are volunteers.

We are always looking for helpers at LGNC. If you feel you can assist in any way, please get in touch.
