Girls age groups are for girls teams only. Other age groups are for boys or mixed teams. There is no girls U7s or U11s. Girls teams from those age groups should enter the age group above (or the equivalent boys / mixed age group if they would prefer).
Cost:
Entry is £45 per team. You may enter as many teams as you like, but please be realistic. Last minute dropouts cause us a lot of headaches, so check with your players that they are definitely available BEFORE you enter and make payment. We will not offer refunds for teams who pull out after May 1st.
Format:
- U7s and U8s will play 5 a side
- All other age groups will play 6 a side
- All age groups are competitive, with both cup and plate competitions to give all teams a decent chance of progressing. The winners and runners up in each of the two competitions receive medals, with the winners of each also receiving a trophy to keep.
- The exception is the U7s, who play a friendly tournament where everyone receives a medal for participating.
- We work hard to ensure your experience is a positive as possible, meaning we prioritise the format for those attending ahead of cramming in as many teams as possible. This means no long waits between games, or between the group and knockout stages, plenty of matches for everyone, and as many teams qualifying for knockout competitions as is reasonably possible in the time. We know what frustrates us (and what we like) when we take our teams to other tournaments, and we always consider that when putting our own schedule together.
